Prof. THOMAS P. GROSS


Thomas is an attorney in Washington, DC, with over 30 years of experience, practicing in technology and blockchain for the last four years.  

He was trained as a physicist and has worked at the Stanford Linear Accelerator, Livermore Labs, Los Alamos Labs, and Silicon Valley in quantum physics.  

He has worked as a lawyer in two large international law firms and the federal government at a major independent regulatory commission, and currently is a Partner in the Cogent Law Firm.  

He has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty at The George Washington University for more than 15 years where he teaches graduate-level courses that cover securities, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies.

He is a frequent speaker and author on blockchain and cryptocurrency topics.  He holds advanced degrees from both Stanford University and Case Western Reserve University where he earned degrees in both physics and law.
